Soothing & Fun Bathroom

For this bathroom, we opted to use a a translucent green marble that resembles glass. The walls are covered with subway-sized Carrerra marble, accented with a Ming Green pencil tile, and topped with marble chair rail.

The late 1890s pink Tennessee granite floating sink is supported by silver painted cast iron brackets to create a sense of openness. The medicine cabinet, woodwork, and shelf are also recycled pieces. The original brick chimney bisects the bathroom, adding rustic character. The fish tank toilet, complete with live plants and fish is a definite conversation piece.
